Gilles Levasseur

Gilles, is the former President of the Institute of Public Administration and the Federal Court Challenge Program. Gilles has also spent more than six years as the vice-president and public representation of the Francophone Hard of Hearing Association. During that time, he was responsible for strategic planning, finance fundraising as well as a spoke person with governmental representatives

Over the past 25 years, Gilles has served on several health associations, chairing and serving on three health foundations. Being a Fellow with the American College of Health Executives and a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Executives, and the Director General for the Federal Government, he developed a vast level of experience in the health field in various professional positions. He also gained necessary knowledge of medical devices in Canada and provided legal advice.

As a member of the National Board, he hopes to provide strategic leadership to partners and stakeholders, establish strategic plans that set out and uphold CHHA’s mission, vision and values, and bringing appropriate communications and media relations with all forms of medias especially social media.
