The Congress will take place at the <strong>Hotel Helia Danubius<\/strong>, a wellness hotel with ample conference facilities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.danubiushotels.com\/hu\/szallodak-budapest\/danubius-hotel-helia\">https:\/\/www.danubiushotels.com\/hu\/szallodak-budapest\/danubius-hotel-helia<\/a>. The theme of the Congress is \u201c<strong>World without barriers<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The keynote speakers are:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. <strong>Shelly Chadha<\/strong>, medical officer of WHO<br \/>\n2. <strong>Laszlo Lovaszy, Ph.D.<\/strong>, expert, advisor and commissioner for strategic research.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the Congress is on the INDIVIDUAL. While concentrating on the<br \/>\nindividual, we are wishing to structure the congress around the following themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Identity and interactions: personal and social dimensions of a hearing loss<\/strong><br \/>\nThis topic is devoted to discussing the impact of a hearing loss on individuals, including their social and economic status, and its impact on their family members and community.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technological innovations for hearing accessibility<\/strong><br \/>\nNew developments in hearing instrument technology, cochlear implants, assistive listening devices and systems will be discussed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Medical developments for better hearing<\/strong><br \/>\nDevelopments regarding cochlear implants, middle ear implants, brain-stem implants, bone encored implants, hair cell regeneration, and new audiology fitting techniques are included.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legislative, policy and human rights advances for hard of hearing people<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder this topic, pertinent developments related to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Call for Papers submission is open now!<\/strong> Please read more about call for paper at webpage: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifhoh2020budapest.com\/#ifhoh-submission\">https:\/\/www.ifhoh2020budapest.com\/#ifhoh-submission<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Congress will be preceded by the BGM of IFHOH and AGM of EFHOH.
