Vous pouvez cliquer le lien pour changer de langue active.<\/p>The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association is looking for a student to provide administrative and clerical services for the National Office in Ottawa, ON.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position: Administrative Assistant<br \/>\nLength of Position:<\/strong>\u00a0 8 weeks<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> July 9, 2018<br \/>\n<strong>Rate of Pay: <\/strong>$14.00\/hr.<br \/>\n<strong>Status Seasonal:<\/strong> 30 hours per week (non-benefited)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Assignments: <\/strong>The Administrative Assistant will help the association with its general day-to-day operations. The student will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association&#8217;s National Office.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities for the position will include but not restricted to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type correspondence, reports and other documents in English and French<\/li>\n<li>Maintain office files<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the planning of events and other initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Open and distribute the mail<\/li>\n<li>Research and report writing<\/li>\n<li>Answer phone calls in relation to general hearing loss issues as well as questions regarding the association\u2019s activities in English and French<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the dissemination of material to association members as well as branches and chapters<\/li>\n<li>Provide drafts of newsletter articles and social media updates for the organization in English and French<\/li>\n<li>Other administrative duties assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment and a Canadian Citizen<\/li>\n<li>Student must be registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year and intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>An asset:\n<ul>\n<li>Having a hearing loss<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge related hearing loss issues<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy; Web maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Excellent reading\/writing skills and working knowledge in both official languages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your resume by mail at: <a href=\"mailto:info@chha.ca\">info@chha.ca<\/a> to the attention of Karla Wilson.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nD\u00e9sol\u00e9, cet article est seulement disponible en Anglais Am\u00e9ricain.
