Anne Marie has been supporting CHHA since January 2022. She played an instrumental role on the Employment Access Framework (EAF) Project.  Acting as Outreach Consultant, Anne Marie applied her 25 years + of experience in human resources, training, and process facilitation in both the public and private sector to the role.  She was involved in the engagement of employers and the lead for the Partnership Advisory Committee that guided the project activities. She also led the development of over 35 employer resources now available on the EAF project website.

As of January 2023, Anne Marie’s role has expanded to Manager Programs & Services, Employment and Accessibility.  Her role includes supporting a national skill upgrading and job placement program called the Accessible Navigation to Employment (ANTE) program, that will build on the research conducted, and resources built, during the EAF project.

Anne Marie brings a valued perspective to the National Office by way of her lived experience with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. She uses this real-life experience in her engagement with, and support for, employers as well as providing leadership on accessibility programs and policy review on behalf of CHHA National.
